"It is no more my choice to be a priest than it is a homosexual’s choice to be gay. " So, since you believe homosexuality isn't a choice, then what would you have them do? Be damned by society because God's chosen path for them? If it is God's will for them to be attracted to members of the same sex, would you be going against God's will by saying that it is an unnatural union and that they shouldn't be allowed to wed or fornicate? By thinking it's unnatural, is that questioning God's will?
Not at all! I think homosexuals have a very special role in God’s creation. I think God meant for them to carry the flame of Chastity as torchbearers for the laity. God gives them a light, so that they can lead others to the perfection of this virtue. However, if they cover the light with sexual sin, it cannot be seen.
“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”
